Fine on the road
Legal on a private vehicle in the UK. Tell your insurer, because a modification you have not declared can void a claim.

Services
Six things we do day in, day out, plus the smaller jobs that come with them. If what you need is not listed, ring and ask.
Stage 1 remapping01
Stage 1 is written for a vehicle running its factory turbo, exhaust and intake. We adjust fuelling, boost, timing and the torque limiters inside safe factory tolerances, so it pulls harder from low revs and feels more responsive in traffic and on the motorway.
Stage 2 and custom files02
Once the hardware has changed, the standard map is holding the vehicle back. We build the file around what is actually fitted, then log it and adjust until fuelling and boost are right through the whole rev range rather than just at peak.
HGV and commercial03
Thirty five years of commercial vehicle work sits behind this. HGV servicing, remapping and diagnostics, plus the brake testing facility on site. For an operator, a truck off the road is the thing that costs, so we work around that.
Brake testing04
We have a brake testing facility on site, which is not something most tuning outfits can say. It means a commercial vehicle can be tested and signed off here rather than being sent somewhere else, and it is part of why fleets keep coming back.
Diagnostics05
A fault code tells you where to look, not what is wrong. Thirty five years of repairing is what tells the difference, and it is why we check the thing the code is pointing at before anything gets bought.
Full garage services06
We are a working garage first. Servicing, repairs, brakes, clutches and the rest, for cars, vans and commercial vehicles. The remapping sits alongside that rather than instead of it, which means we see the whole vehicle rather than just its software.
Every option
All 35 of them, with a straight answer next to each one about where it can be used. If what you want is not here, ring and ask.
The main calibrations. Each one is written for your exact engine and gearbox code, never picked off a shelf.
Automatic transmissions, on supported boxes. Send the read and we will confirm before you quote the customer.
The things you notice from the driver's seat rather than on a dyno sheet.
We diagnose and repair these. Software removal is supplied for off road and competition vehicles only, because disabling emissions equipment on a road registered car is an offence in the UK and most of Europe and an automatic MOT failure.
The jobs behind the job. Mostly trade, but worth knowing we do them.

Either it varies by platform, or the rules depend on who operates the vehicle. Ring us with the registration and we will tell you.
Not legal on a public road in the UK. We supply it for off road and competition vehicles, and the responsibility sits with the owner.
Common questions
If the car is still inside its manufacturer warranty, changing the engine software can affect a claim on the drivetrain. We will tell you where you stand before you book, and plenty of customers wait until the warranty is up.
The file is written inside the tolerances the engine was designed around, and we check the car for existing faults first. A tired engine with a slipping clutch or a boost leak will not be mapped until it is sorted.
Most cars are done in one to two hours. Anything that needs the ECU out on the bench can take longer, and we tell you that when you book rather than on the day.
Yes. Your original file is saved before we touch anything and it stays on our system, so the car can be returned to factory software at any point.

Cars to HGV
Most places that map cars will not touch a truck, and most truck places do not map. We do both, from the same unit, with a brake testing facility on site. For an operator that means one phone call instead of three.

Tell us what the car is and how you use it. We will tell you honestly what will make a difference and what will not.
